This website Bodywork By Jura (the “Site”) is owned and operated by Bodywork by Jura (“Company” “we” or “us”). By using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and to use the Site in accordance with these Terms of Service.
Accessing the Site, in any manner, whether automated or otherwise, constitutes use of the Site and your agreement to be bound by these Terms of Service. We reserve the right to change these Terms of Service or to impose new conditions on use of the Site, from time to time, in which case we will post the revised Terms of Service on this website. By continuing to use the Site after we post any such changes, you accept the Terms of Service, as modified.
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
A) Our Limited License to You. This Site and all materials available on the Site are the property of us and/or our affiliates or licensors, and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. The Site is provided solely for your personal noncommercial use. You may not use the Site or the materials available on the Site in a manner that constitutes an infringement of our rights or that has not been authorized by us. More specifically, unless explicitly authorized in these Terms of Service or by the owner of the materials, you may not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, translate, sell, create derivative works, exploit or distribute in any manner or medium (including by email or other electronic means) any material from the Site (including photos). You may, however, from time to time, download and/or print one copy of individual pages of the Site for your personal, non-commercial use, provided that you keep intact all copyright and other proprietary notices.
B) Limitations on Linking and Framing. You may establish a hypertext link to the Site so long as the link does not state or imply any sponsorship of your site by us or by the Site. However, you may not, without our prior written permission, frame or inline link any of the content of the Site, or incorporate into another website or other service any of our material, content or intellectual property.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
In no event shall Bodywork By Jura, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorised access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.
Bodywork by Jura and its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements.
MASSAGE CONSTRAINTS AND LIMITATIONS
I understand that a therapist cannot diagnose any illness, disease, or any physical or mental disorders nor can the therapist prescribe any medication and that nothing said in a session should be construed as such.
I understand that massage therapy is intended to work in conjunction with my healthcare, not act as a substitute for medical examination. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult a physician for any ailments I may have. I understand that massage therapy is a therapeutic measure used to reduce stress, muscular tension, and pain.
I understand there are no guarantees for recovery and if I am unsatisfied with the progress made with my treatment I will inform the therapist, so they may direct me to another treatment. I also understand that massage therapy is non-sexual in nature and any advancement made will terminate the massage.
I understand that certain conditions or medications may contraindicate (not permit) massage or may require the use of alternate techniques or pressure. I respect the decision of the therapist and am fully prepared to reschedule the massage for a later date if requested by the therapist.
I also understand that massage may be advisable by my physician, but not by a therapist. In that event, I agree to provide a written agreement from my physician before proceeding with treatment.
Appointment Cancellation, Rescheduling and Late Arrival Policy
Early Cancellations and Rescheduling
We understand that occasionally you will need to cancel or change your appointment. There is no cancellation fee for an appointment cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time.
Late Cancellations and Rescheduling
Please keep in mind that your therapist has reserved your appointment time for you. Late cancellations, “no-shows”, late rescheduling, and late arrivals leave your therapist with a hole in their schedule that could have been booked for another client. For this reason, clients that do not honor their appointments will be charged the following late cancellation fee.
Cancelling and Re-scheduling Appointments within 24-hours of the appointment start time
If you miss your appointment or cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time you will be charged the full rate for your selected service.
If I was able to book your scheduled appointment time with another client, you will not be charged the cancellation fee. I try very hard to fill your cancelled appointment with another client, so the sooner you let me know, the better chance you will have of another client filling your time slot. If I am unable to fill your time slot, you will be charged the full rate for your selected service.
Cancelling and Rescheduling Appointments that were Booked within 24 hours of the appointment start time
If you make your appointment on the same day as the appointment time or within the 24 hours of the appointment time and you subsequently miss or cancel or reschedule that appointment you will be charged the full rate.
Emergencies and Extenuating Circumstances
I understand that life gets in the way and use a trust-based system for reasonable extenuating circumstances where you have to reschedule appointments within 24 hours.
Services cancelled within 24 hours will not be refunded, but the session can be rebooked for a future date.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late for your appointment I cannot provide an extension to your scheduled appointment time. The original scheduled service fee will be charged in full for late arrivals.
Appointment Reminder Texts and Emails
The text and email reminders should not be your primary means of remembering your scheduled appointment. I cannot guarantee delivery of these reminders. You are responsible for ensuring you do not forget your appointment, mix up the time, or arrive late.
